Birthday Boy Turns 3 Today

This is Josh wearing his home made birthday hat, made with love by Big Sis Hannah. As you can see, he loved the hat!
Here is Josh sitting on top of his "motorcycle". If Daddy can build one, so can he! At least he is wearing a helmet on his bike. Before he gets on his motorcycle, he always has to kick start it, which, just like Daddy's motorcyle, takes several attempts. Unlike Daddy's motorcycle, Josh always gets his started!
In case you're wondering, the lion is Joshy's passenger. His bike is made for 2!
LOOK OUT JOSH, DONT RUN OVER JAYDON!!!!!!!!!!!

Abby's Growing Up

Abby is doing great. She is growing up a little too fast, though. She gets up on her hands and knees now and rocks back and forth, and today she even started picking up one hand and moving it up in front of her. She will be crawling any day now! I cant believe it! Thank God for all her progress!

The Girls Have A Tea Party

Do apple juice, goldfish, and teething cookies qualify as a tea party? They do in our house. This morning even before breakfast, I discovered the girls had carried Abby into the kitchen, put her in her chair, and set up an impromptu tea party. Every one had a great time, even Abby.

Reflections

It's been a wonderful day. Today is my birthday, I turned 25 again! Birthdays are never quite the same when your best friend isn't here to celebrate it with you, but I had a great day anyway. Didn't have anything planned, but Jaydon informed me on our way to church "Mom, it's your birthday, we have to do something fun, your not going to live much longer" (in all seriousness!), so as I gave this some consideration, and then I considered cooking dinner, I decided to instead go out and let us be served. My good friends Livi and Susie, and Tyler went with us, and the children had a great time "sneaking" a message to the waiter that it was my birthday, so all the staff would come and sing to me. I just want to say that God has been very good to me these 25+ years, and I am grateful. I have the best husband God could have ever chosen for me, and 5 beautiful children. I am very grateful that He has seen me through another year and I am excited to see what is in store for us.
